This Privacy Policy explains how Bali Visa Application (“we”, “us”, “our”) — an independent Indonesia and Bali visa guide and concierge (information, not legal advice) — collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use balivisaapplication.com. By using this website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are
We are an independent editorial publisher and visa concierge. We are not the Government of Indonesia, the Directorate General of Immigration (Imigrasi), or a law firm. We publish visa information and, on request, connect travellers with vetted licensed visa agents and a travel partner for Bali trips.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our enquiry form, use the visa finder, or message us on WhatsApp or email, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, email address, nationality, visa purpose, intended length of stay, travel dates and any message content. You are never required to create an account, and we do not collect payment card information on this website.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers and privacy-respecting analytics may log technical data such as your approximate region, browser and device type, referring page, and pages viewed. This is used in aggregate to understand traffic and improve the site. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking networks.
Cookies
We use a small number of functional cookies — for example, page caching and remembering that you dismissed our cookie notice. These are necessary for the site to work well and store no advertising identifiers. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us only to: respond to your enquiry; recommend a suitable visa and explain its requirements and costs; where you ask for it, introduce you to a vetted licensed visa agent who can process your application; and, if you wish, help plan a Bali trip through our travel partner. We may also use aggregate, non-identifying data to improve our content and services.
Legal basis
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (which you give by contacting us) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating the site. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share the details you provide only with: the vetted visa agent or travel partner you ask us to introduce you to, so they can assist you; and service providers that help us operate (for example our email and hosting providers), bound to handle data only on our instructions. When you continue a conversation on WhatsApp, that exchange is also governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. We may disclose information if required by law.
International transfers
Because we and some of our providers operate across borders, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
Data retention
We keep enquiry emails and messages only for as long as needed to assist you and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, then delete or anonymise them. Aggregate analytics may be kept longer as it does not identify you.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal information, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email sales@komodoluxury.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging travel and visas. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Our pages link to external services and official sources — including the official portal evisa.imigrasi.go.id, WhatsApp, map and font providers. Those services operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices or the law change. We will revise the date below when we do, and significant changes will be reflected on this page.
Contact
For any privacy question or request, email sales@komodoluxury.com or message us on WhatsApp at +62 811-3823-875.
Last updated: June 2026.
Marketing communications
We contact you only to respond to your enquiry and to help with the visa or trip you asked about. We do not add you to unrelated marketing lists, and any optional update we might send would include a clear way to opt out. We never sell your contact details to advertisers.
Automated decision-making
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. The on-site visa finder runs entirely in your browser and simply suggests a visa category from the options you select; it does not store or transmit your answers unless you choose to send them to us.
Rights for EU, UK and California residents
If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you may request disclosure or deletion of personal information and are entitled not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights; we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, email sales@komodoluxury.com.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection regulator.
